The Zimmer MedizinSystems Cryo 6 and Cryo Mini are currently in-production. The original chiller device, the Cryo 5, was replaced by the Cryo 6. Please contact us to discuss which Cryo model will be best for your practice.

We provide a 2 year limited warranty for new Zimmer MedizinSystems Cryo 6 devices.  The limited warranty period for a New Zimmer MedizinSystems Cryo Mini is 1 year.

We sell New Cryo 6 and New Cryo Mini units, as well as used Zimmer MedizinSystems Cryo units (depending on availability). In addition, we sell Refurbished Zimmer MedizinSystems Cryo units (depending on availability). Used and refurbished Zimmer MedizinSystems Cryo units differ in warranty and service. We sell Cryo units “As Is, Where Is”.  Refurbished Zimmer MedizinSystems Cryo units normally include a warranty period and new replacement parts.

We can deliver New Zimmer MedizinSystems cryo units as soon as the next day, depending on your requirements, your location, and what is in stock. New chillers ship out faster than used or refurbished units. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

All of our Zimmer MedizinSystems chillers cool using regular room air. The Cryo 6, Cryo Mini and Cryo 5 do not require consumables to operate. Unlike other laser cooling methods (ice packs, topicals, cryogen spray), Cryo devices can cool the skin before, during, and after treatment without interfering with the laser beam.

The Zimmer MedizinSystems Cryo 6 delivers cold air down to -30°C to the treatment area, with 9 adjustable fan settings. You may use it for skin cooling with dermatological laser treatments to minimize pain and thermal damage to skin tissue. The Cryo 6 does not require consumables, has an optional articulating arm for hands-free operation, a glass top for accessories storage and a clear LCD display for easy operation. The Cryo Mini has a reduced chilling capacity and you should use it for shorter treatments. The Cryo Mini has a smaller footprint than the Cryo 6 and Cryo 5. A new Cryo Mini includes a 1 year limited warranty compared to a 2 year limited warranty for a new Cryo 6. All Zimmer MedizinSystems chiller units have an air filter and condensation container.  You should monitor and maintain these parts regularly. Please vacuum the Cryo 6 air filter, located on the rear of the units, on a weekly basis. This will help remove dust particles on the filter and allow the unit to filter air more efficiently. Drain the condensation container, located on the bottom of the Cryo 6 (and side of the Cryo Mini) as the unit’s condensation fills it up. A built-in sensor and warning light will alert you when you need to empty the container. To prevent mildew, consider adding two drops of a disinfectant.
