DAVID J. GOLDBERG, MD, JD

Dr. Goldberg earned his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his dermatology residency and dermatologic surgical fellowship at NYU Medical Center. He has served as President as well as Chairman of both the Ethics and International Committees of the ASLMS. Dr. Goldberg was the first ever recipient of the ASLMS Leon Goldman award. He is past Chair of the Ethics Committee of both the AAD and the ASLMS, and has been on the Board of Directors of the ASDS, AAD, and the ASLMS.

Dr. Goldberg is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology and former Director of Laser Research and Mohs Surgery at NY’s Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He has published over 170 peer-reviewed manuscripts, has authored and/or edited 15 dermatology books. He has performed pivotal research studies in laser hair removal, non-ablative skin treatments, cellulite and skin tightening, erectile rejuvenation, dermal fillers and new botulinum toxins.
